Al Hrabosky's
Ballpark Saloon

Al Hrabosky has made a smooth transition from one of St. Louis' best-loved athletes, to one of the town's favorite broadcasters. His expert commentary and sharp wit have been a staple since 1985 of Cardinals telecasts.

Hrabosky's fast rise in broadcasting came as no surprise. During a 13-year major league career in which he compiled 97 career saves and one of the best all-time winning percentages for a relief pitcher (65-wins and 34-losses), Hrabosky already was preparing himself for a broadcasting career by working as sportscaster for a St. Louis TV station.

Presently, Hrabosky brings his expert commentary to the Baseball fans thru his very popular 4-day a week baseball radio show on all-sports radio station KFNS and Fox Sports Mid-West's coverage of Cardinals baseball.

Hrabosky also devotes much of his time to various charities, including the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, KUTO, Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Health Careers Foundation.

As a motivational speaker, Hrabosky has entertained such companies as Anheuser-Busch, the St. Louis Cardinals, Boatmen's Bank, Illinois Lawyers Association, Missouri legislators, McDonald's and many more.

One of Hrabosky's newest projects is one of his most rewarding; Host of the very popular St. Louis Cardinals Elementary school "Say NO to Drugs" program with Fredbird, the St. Louis Cardinals team mascot.
